Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, November 21, 2006 Elster Integrated Solutions announces new additions to management team

Elster Integrated Solutions (EIS) is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Durham and Mike Tabbert to its management team. These additions reinforce EIS’ commitment to innovation, growth and customer focus. “Adding these seasoned veterans to our management team supports the AMI/AMR system focus of our business,” stated Sharon Allan, president of EIS. “Having a dedicated team that focuses on system sales enables us to better serve our customers.”

Scott Durham joined EIS in September 2006 as vice president of sales, strategic accounts. Durham brings significant knowledge of the automated meter reading (AMR) and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) markets, and over 22 years of sales management, marketing, operations, business development and general management experience. Prior to joining EIS, Durham spent nearly seven years as vice president of sales at Datamatic, Ltd., a utility metering automation and data management systems company. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California.

Mike Tabbert also joined the EIS management team in September 2006 as director of strategic accounts. Tabbert has an outstanding success record serving the utility industry for more than three decades, including almost 20 years with Detroit Edison, Portland General Electric and Southwest Gas Corporation. Tabbert has worked with dozens of utilities in North America through his association with several software and consulting firms. His experience covers a wide variety of disciplines including sales, account management, information technology, finance, project management, consulting, budget, and marketing. Tabbert has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and an MBA from Wayne State University in Detroit. He has also taught courses ranging from quantitative methods to business ethics at Arizona State University, the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and Portland State University.
